Данная статья описывает направления содержательного соединения двух профилей в новой модели подготовки учителей физики и технологии, нацеленного на перспективу интеграции современных технологий в содержание общего образования.

Организационным аспектом решения этой задачи является двухпрофильный прикладной бакалавриат педагогического образования «Физика и технология» («Педагогический ФизТех»), реализуемый сейчас в Институте физики, технологии и информационных систем Московского педагогического государственного университета. Выступая в роли первого профиля в содержании образовательной программы подготовки современного учителя технологии, физика обеспечивает необходимый для понимания современных технологий уровень фундаментальной научной подготовки, а также подготовку выпускников университета к обучению школьников современным технологиям, например, по разработанной ФИРО новой программе по технологии для школ [2, 4], которая является ориентиром для подготовки учителей технологии в МПГУ.
