В условиях постоянно нарастающей экономии бюджетных средств в школе возникает дополнительно проблема морального старения программного обеспечения в компьютерных классах. Зачастую родители школьников могут позволить себе существенно более «продвинутые» версии программного обеспечения, нежели используемые в школе, что создаёт дополнительный дисбаланс в становлении единой информационной образовательной среды.
