Курс «Технологии приема и передачи информации» входит в модуль электрорадиотехнология (цепочка дисциплин: электрические цепи и машины, технологии приема и передачи информации, автоматика и цифровая электроника; все сопровождается практикумами по дисциплинам, по электрорадиоизмерениям и радиомонтажу).Курс является традиционным в учебных планах факультета технологии и предпринимательства МПГУ. Объединение факультета с физическим факультетом в Институт технологии, физики и информационных систем и переход на практико-ориентированный федеральный стандарт (последний) высшего образования повлекли за собой пересмотр учебных планов. В результате сокращены аудиторные часы (лекции, лабораторные работы), предусматривается более интенсивная работа студентов. Но существует нижний предел по объему материала, который рассматривается и контролируется очно. Выход за этот предел должен приводить к снижению качества усвоения материала. Анализ проведем с использованием учебных планов последних нескольких лет, в которых аудиторные часы уже были сжаты. При этом приходится конструировать этакую «знаниевую сетку», наброшенную на гипотетическое «поле знаний» конкретной дисциплины (будем считать, что это перечень вопросов по разделам). В этом случае на лекциях основное внимание приходится уделять основным понятиям (условно примем, что они располагаются в узлах упомянутой «сетки»), далее на практических лабораторных работах возможно расширение знаниевой области вокруг узлов «сетки», контакты со студентами на защитах могут позволить расширить это поле при наличии контрольных вопросов, побуждающих студентов к самостоятельному изучению дополнительного материала. Очевидно, что до полного «перекрытия» знаниевых областей соседних узлов не достигнем, но «погружение» в знаниевую область дисциплины желательно и возможно. При этом выпускник должен быть уверен в подготовленности или к дальнейшему самообразованию в этой области, или к продолжению обучения на другом уровне. Будем считать, что это критерий качества освоения дисциплины. Если же на выходе мы имеем только несвязанные компактные узловые области (в терминологии нашей умозрительной модели), то результат обучения нельзя считать положительным.
